Mark Edwin West, 63, of Harrison Township, MI, passed away in his sleep at his home on August 21, 2017. He was born April 27, 1954 to Edwin L. and Joan E. (Hill) West in Wyandotte, Michigan.
Mark is survived by his companion, Nancy Pellegrini; son, Dean Edwin West and former wife, Teresa West of Warren; sisters Nancy Graves of St. Johns, MI, Ann (Ed) Masley of Southgate, MI, and Karen (Joe) Micucci of Burton, MI, and many nieces and nephews. Also dear friend, Dan Murakami, Dave and Cathy Burkitt and dear neighbors, Richard and Stella Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Joan West and brother, Paul West.
Mark worked at Chrysler, Namasco Steel and then received his certification for Heating and Cooling from Macomb Community College and worked at Henry Ford Hospital as a Maintenance Engineer. He enjoyed the outdoor life, going to his property in St. Helen, dune buggy riding, hunting and fishing and later traded that in for the life on the water of Lake St. Clair.
Visiting hours are 3 - 8 p.m., Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
Burial will be private at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills.
