Marjorie Louise Russ (Schwinke), age 96, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was united in marriage March 12, 1955 to the love of her life, Everett Frank Russ.

Devoted mother of Michael Russ (Julie) and Shelly Valliere (Michael). Proud grandmother of Stephanie Campbell (Andrew), Ashley Russ, Katelyn Valliere and Rebecca Valliere. Honored great grandmother to Grace, Lillian and Preston Campbell. Predeceased by her husband, Everett Frank (Buddy) Russ; parents, Fred and Laura (Johnson) Schwinke, and twin brothers, Raymond and Robert Schwinke. Marge was a source of joy to everyone who knew her.

Best known for her famous Texas sheet cake and Margie Margie bread; every family celebration included a freshly baked treat. She brought warmth and love into every baked good she created. She enjoyed a good game of euchre, especially if there was a nickel on the table to be won. Her recent stay at Shorehaven provided many new friendships and games of bingo and po-ke-no. If there was a party Marge would be there!

She was a devoted lifetime member of Zion United Church of Christ and served on many committees, including cooking for the Rotary Club for 45 years. Marge was valedictorian of her 1946 Class of Mount Clemens High School.
