Marilyn G. Clausen (nee: Rivard) passed away at the age of 88 on July 20, 2022.

Marilyn was born in Mount Clemens, MI on October 14, 1933 to Clarence and Ellen (Clark) Rivard. She was united in marriage with John S. Clausen, Sr. on April 19, 1952, and made their home in Roseville. She was predeceased by her husband, John, November 9, 1994.

Marilyn was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies, doing crossword puzzles and keeping up with family via "Facepage" as she referred to it. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fraser for more than 60 years and proudly served as President of the Ladies Society.

Surviving are three children, John S. (Gail M.) Clausen Jr., Judy L. (Rickey L.) Maynard and Candy K. Allagreen (nee: Clausen); 8 grandchildren, Rickey L. Maynard Jr., Brandy L. Maynard, Jared L. Maynard, Sean L. Maynard, Cody L. Maynard, John S. (Jaime) Clausen III, Anthony R. (Nicole) Clausen and Ashley E. (Gerald) Clausen Socia, and 4 great granddaughters, Morgan E. Clausen, Emma G. Clausen, Brielle E. Socia and Lydia L. Socia.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, July 24, 2022 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. (visiting at 10:00), Monday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
