Marie Jane Finley

Mrs. Marie Jane Finley, age 91 of Mount Clemens, passed away on Tuesday at Medilodge of Richmond.

She was born on March 14, 1928 in Mount Clemens, Michigan a daughter of the late Edmund and Ida (Rettell) Meldrum. On November 24, 1946 Marie Jane was united in marriage with Clarence L. Finley. Mr. Finley passed away on Thursday February 5, 1981 in Detroit.

Marie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ray Township. She enjoyed Detroit Tiger Baseball and golf.

Mrs. Finley is survived by seven children, Gary (Kathleen), Pamela Marie (Lynn) Wattle, Stephen (Marie), Randy (Elizabeth), Brenda (Mike) Boutin, Scott, and Shelley Rettell. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Marie was predeceased by a son, Baby Mark Edmund Finley, grandson, Brendan Tank, and siblings, Edward Meldrum, Ruth Nesco and Mildred Frazho.

Visiting hours are on Sunday, November 3, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral Monday, November 4, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with the Reverend Dr. Joshua Ball officiating. Burial will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery, Clinton Township.
