Mrs. Marian H. Coyne, age 95 of Clinton Township, passed away Saturday morning at McLaren-Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.
She was born on February 7, 1921 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Charles and Stella (Klaparsky) Lapish. On December 3, 1938, Marian was united in marriage with William Coyne in Angola, Indiana. He passed away on April 17, 1986 in Clinton Township.
Marian was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. She enjoyed socializing with her many friends.
Mrs. Coyne is survived by her son, William (Dawn) Coyne; five grandchildren, Craig, Beth Anne, Chris (Carla), Evan and Chelsea; three great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Marian was predeceased by a son, John and four siblings, John, Laura, Lucille Samp and Alice Stone.
Visiting hours are on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 2-8:00 p.m. in Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. (in state at 9:00 a.m.) at St. Peter Catholic Church, market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Roseville.
