Mrs. Margarita T. Valley, age 88 of Chesterfield Township, passed away on Wednesday afternoon in Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township.

She was born on February 27, 1931 in Genola, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Peter and Juletta (Faust) Saehr. On June 9, 1955, Margarita was united in marriage with Louis Eugene Valley in Pierz, Minnesota. Louis passed away on Friday, February 23, 2001 in Clinton Township.

Margarita was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, baking and cooking, fishing, music and especially going to the casino.

Mrs. Valley is survived by four children, Jeffrey (Jill) Valley, Julie (Steven) Nutting, Janet (Henry) Frank and Anne Marie Valley; seven grandchildren, Gina (Nick) Tomczak, Crystal (Wes) Hadley, Phillip, Jeffrey, Joshua, Ashley and Amber; 4 great grandchildren, Lawson and Mavis Tomczak and Drew and Paige Hadley, and her sister, Elizabeth "Ella" Pinnick. Margarita was predeceased by her brother, Jack Saehr.

Visiting hours are on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Scripture Service in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. (in state at 9:00 a.m.) at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township.
