Margaret Mary Schwarzkoff, age 91 of Utica, passed away December 10, 2025 at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital.

She was born June 9, 1934 to Emin and Eva (Elias) Backus in Detroit, Michigan. On September 3, 1955 Margaret was united in marriage with Robert H. Schwarzkoff at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica.

Margaret was the sweetest, kindest, most loving, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend that most of us will ever know.

She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica. Margaret enjoyed golfing, and spending the winter months with her husband and friends in Naples, Florida.

Surviving are her children, Pamela (Kenneth) Brownlie, Robert (Mary) Schwarzkoff and Mark (Tammy) Schwarzkoff. She was Grandma Mousie to, Sarah (Zach), Mackenzie (Jeremy), Ryan (Ashley), Christopher (Torrey) and Shelby (Drew); Sita to, Nolan, Max, Christian, Henry, Sophia, Penny, Maizie, Brooks, and sister of, Peter Backus and Eva Gilbert. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Miki on September 30, 2020, and siblings, Joseph Backus, Madeline Thomas, Anthony Backus, Agnes Herit, Nellie Foyt, Marie Toro, Catherine Sutton, Louis Backus, Paul Backus and Josephine DeGeorge.

Visiting hours will be from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2025 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. (in state 9:30 a.m.), Tuesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Road, Utica, MI 48317 with Father  Roman Pasieczny officiating.

Burial will follow at Utica Cemetery.
