Maggie Lois Gave, age 88 of Saginaw, a former resident of Mount Clemens, passed away Saturday at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab, Saginaw.

She was born October 10, 1929 to Wilgus and Lucy (Smith) Prater in Quicksand, Kentucky. Maggie was united in marriage with Norman F. Gave in 1952. The couple settled in Mount Clemens.

Mrs. Gave is survived by her son, Howard (Wendy) Gave; grandchildren, Aaron (Angela) Gave, Amanda Emeott, Adam Gave; eight great grandchildren, and her sister, Treva Gross. Maggie was predeceased by her husband, Norman on August 4, 1993, and six siblings, Dewey, James, John, Sam, Dora Mae and Ruth.

Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home with Reverend Mark Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
