Madeline Margaret Dubay, age 95 of Mount Clemens, passed away early Tuesday morning at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.

She was born July 1, 1922 in Mount Clemens to Camiel Verschaeve of Vladslo, Belgium and Zulma Maria Goethals of Meulebeke, Belgium. On May 4, 1946 Madeline was united in marriage with Donald Paul Dubay at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens.

Mrs. Dubay was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and ARC of Macomb County. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, reading, camping, and especially loved spending time with family.

Surviving are her children, Linda (Raymond) Rivard, Richard (Linda) Dubay, Joseph (Marilyn) Dubay, Carol (David) Probst; 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Madeline was predeceased by her husband, Donald, August 24, 1994; daughter, Mary Lou Dubay, April 16, 2014; sister, Marion Martens, January 12, 2016, and lifelong friend, Delphine Darling, December 14, 2017.

Visiting hours are 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. (with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary service), Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral mass is at 11:30 a.m. (in state 11:00), Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market, Mount Clemens with Father Michael Cooney officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Catholic Church or Henry Ford Hospice.
