Louise Christine Boomer, age 90 of Lenox, passed away early Monday morning at home.

She was born March 3,1936 to Van and Christine (Stappert) Hyvonen in Detroit, Michigan. On July 31, 1954 Louise was united in marriage with Carl L. Boomer at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan.

Louise was a 30 year employee at Country Style Bakery, and enjoyed crocheting and taking car rides. She especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Barbara Elliott, Louise (Robbie) Kazmierczak, Roger Boomer, Brenda (Michael) Pflueger, and Patrick (Kelly) Boomer; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings, Carol Radke and June Hyvonen. Louise was predeceased by her husband, Carl; daughter, Geraldine Withun; son, Michael Boomer, his wife Maryann, and his daughter, Jennifer; brothers, Edward Hyvonen and Jerry Hyvonen, and sister, Ellen Oldani.

Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, July 12, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 13 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
