Mrs. Lorraine G. Russell, age 97 of Clinton Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at North Pointe Senior Care in Utica.

She was born on April 13, 1924 in Washington Township, a daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (DeCaussin) Peltier. Lorraine was United in marriage with Harold Howard Russell on May 2, 1940 in St. Peter /catholic Church in Mount Clemens. Mr. Russell passed away one October 16, 1999.

Lorraine worked as a supervisor for Meal-on-Wheels in Macomb County for many years. She enjoyed shopping and being with her grandchildren. Lorraine was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens.

Surviving are three children, Judy Anderson, Jerry (Elaine) Russell and Jenny Saier; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Lorraine was predeceased by 3 children, Diane Boden, Ron /Russell and Jeanie Zagaiski and 4 siblings, Elmer Peltier, Billy Peltier, Jenny Martenez and Eleanore Dusettee.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Private burial will be held on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township.

Due to COVID - 19 restrictions, only 25 people are allowed in the building at one time. Please keep your visiting to a minimum as to allow others to pay their respects. Face masks are required (covering nose and mouth). No food or drink is allowed in the funeral home.
