Lola Eunice Daniel Holston, passed away January 14, 2023 at Church of Christ Nursing Home, Clinton Township, MI.

She was born in St. Louis, MO on August 21, 1925, the daughter of Wilton Fellows-Daniel and Cullen Daniel.

Lola move to Michigan in 1941 and was united in marriage to Gerald Jr. Holston on August 23, 1941 in the Lutheran Church in Centerline, MI. They were married for 42 years.

Lola worked for the L'Anse Creuse School System from 1955 to 1990, 35 years as a Supervisor Cook.

Surviving are her two children, Ms. Linda L. Bunte of Clinton Township, MI and Gerald C. Holston of Harrison Township, MI. Also, seven grandchildren, Jennifer H. Holston of St. Petersburg, FL, Gerald J. Holston (Tara) of Chesterfield Township, MI, Debra Dempsey Shorkey of Chesterfield Township, MI, Doug Shorkey (Lisa) of Harrison Township, MI, Rick Shorkey (Stacy) of Chesterfield Township, MI, Tamara Leahy of Chesterfield, MI, Michael Shorkey (Pam) of Harrison Township, MI. There are 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Lola was predeceased by her husband, Gerald in 1983, also two sisters and a brother.

Visiting hours are 5:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Cremation will be private at Irwin Crematory, Shelby Township.
