Lois Howard Bayne passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018 in Mount Clemens, MI, after a short illness with her family by her side.

Lois was born on September 18,1935, to Marvin Hershel Howard and Josephine Donn Howard in Grosse Pointe, MI. Lois graduated from Grosse Pointe South High School.  In her adult life, Lois excelled at being the manager of several retail stores in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Mrs. Bayne is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Alice St. James (Bayne) and Lisa Bayne; her six grandchildren Colin W. McGuire, Brendan D. McGuire, Ethan F. McGuire, Foster D. McGuire, Hannah C. McGuire, and Jon Fredrick Moser; and her son-in-law Steven St. James. She was predeceased by her son William McKinley Leach, sister Joan Howard Goulder and grandson Gavin P. McGuire. Lois is also fondly remembered by her extended family and dear friends, especially Damian A. McGuire.

Lois loved sailing and spent over a decade cruising the waters of Lake Michigan, calling Milwaukee her home port. More recently, she enjoyed gardening, reading and bird watching. Lois had an infectious personality and a terrific sense of humor.

Lois leaves behind her beloved toy poodle Robby and her 18 year old cat, Monty. They will miss her as well

A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a celebration of life service at 6:00pm., officiated by Reverend Edwin Murray.

Donations in memory of Lois Howard Bayne may be made to any Humane Society or any Animal Shelter.
