Lisa G. Hinz, age 57 of Harrison Township, passed away December 12, 2021 at Ascension St. John Hospital, Detroit,

She was born December 30, 1963 to Ralph C. and Judith A. (Wiitala) Leiterding in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On June 24, 1989 Lisa married Jeffrey J. Hinz at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Harrison Township.

Mrs. Hinz was employed by the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools for 10 years. Lisa enjoyed gardening, boating, biking, traveling up north, and especially loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is her husband, Jeff; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Hinz; parents, Ralph and Judith Leiterding; siblings, Lynn (Bob) Huber, Lori (Jim) Snell and Todd (Michelle) Leiterding, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. (visiting starting at 10:00), Monday, December 20, 2021 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, 38775 Prentiss Street, Harrison Township, MI 48045.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Michigan Humane Society or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation.
