Linda L. "Smitty" Donovan, age 67 of Mount Clemens, passed away Monday afternoon at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township.

She was born February 1, 1953 to Joseph and Helen (Wiegand) Smith in Harrison Township, Michigan. On November 3, 1989 Linda was married to Richard A. Donovan in Roseville, Michigan.

Mrs. Donovan was employed for 41 years at St. Joseph Hospital East, Mount Clemens. Smitty enjoyed camping, fishing and shopping for jewelry. Linda loved her dogs Carley and Charlie, and was affectionately known as "Omma" to her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Richard; children, Crystal Brass, Nicole Donovan, Connor Donovan; grandchildren, Robert Brass Jr., Eric Arnold, Kaylee Brass, Rosalyn Williams, Delano Williams, Nevaeh Williams, Madison Brass, Allison Brass; sister, Diane (Jim Sr.) Kehrig, and sister in law, Dorothy Smith. Smitty was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Helen Smith, and brother, Ron Smith.

Visiting hours start at 11:30 a.m., Monday, July 13, 2020 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens. A funeral service will begin at 12:30 p.m.
