Liela Catherine Dunlap, age 82 of St. Clair Shores, passed away July 1, 2025 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township. She was born July 31, 1942 to Michael Peter and Catherine Ann (Rouhana) Joseph in Detroit, Michigan.

Liela enjoyed walking, riding her bike, reading her bible, going to Christ Community Church in Roseville, and especially loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Christopher; children, Catherine Dutch, Jerry Maisano and Anthony (Jenny) Maisano, and grandchildren, Luke Maisano and Isabella Maisano. Liela was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Catherine Joseph, and brothers, Peter Michael Joseph, Anthony Paul Joseph and Louis Richard Joseph.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 7, 2025 at Resurrection Cemetery, 18201 Clinton River Road, Clinton Township, under the direction of Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
