Leslie Edward Ballard Jr., age 87 of Macomb, passed away Saturday afternoon at his home.

He was born November 20, 1934 to Leslie R. and Esther (Zuehlke) Ballard in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On November 20, 1954 Leslie was united in marriage with Glenda Faye Webster in Detroit.

Mr. Ballard was the owner of Quality Feed in Harper Woods and retired as a driver for Schneider Trucking. He was  a member of CrossPoint Church, and the Choir and Men's Brotherhood at church. Leslie enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing, gardening, and was a great cook. He played football and ran track while attending Mount Clemens High School.

Surviving are his children, Danny (Kathy) Ballard, Katherine (Dan) Callahan, Chris (Kim) Ballard, Karen (Rick) Martinez and Ryan Ballard; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren, and sisters, Carol Conley, Margaret Ulry, Bonnie Jock and Cora Jock. Leslie was predeceased by his wife, Glenda on June 26, 2021; son, Bobby Ballard, and siblings, Ronnie, Patricia, Richard and Gerald.

Visiting hours will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at CrossPoint Church, 44000 North Avenue, Clinton Township, MI 48035 with Pastor David Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
