Leonore B. "Lore" Quandt

March 8, 1936 - August 28, 2023

Leonore B. "Lore" Quandt, age 87 of Macomb, passed away Monday at her home.

She was born March 8, 1936 to Johann and Centa Blank in Ansbach, Germany. On December 23, 1954 Lore was united in marriage with Richard J. Quandt in Ansbach.

Lore was employed as a designer at Sunbright Flowers, and volunteered in the Gift Shop at McLaren Macomb for many years. She was a member of the Sterling Heights Lions Club for 23 years, and enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers (Lore was a master gardener), crocheting and knitting.

Surviving are her children, Helene Gorman, Joann (Dale) Pruitt, John (Yvonne) Quandt and Michael (Barb,RN) Quandt; grandchildren, Shannon, Lore Lynn, Hunter, Jason, Kristen, Nicole, Adam, Stephanie, Kimberly and Derrick; great grandchildren, Alex, Katie, Joey, Jaxsen, Sam, Zoey, Colin, Spencer, Violet, Kai, Mila and Aria, and great great grandchild, Liam. Lore was predeceased by her husband, Richard on February 5, 1985, and siblings, Helen, Renate and Erich.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 1, 2023 at Meade Cemetery, 24255-26 Mile Road, Ray, MI.
