Mr. Kim G. Lagerquist, age 63, of Chesterfield Township passed away on Monday at his home.

Kim was born on April 12, 1954 to the late Borje H. and Dorothy Helen (McKugh) Lagerquist. Kim was a major part of the medical field in metro Detroit and truly loved helping people. He was a registered nurse, EMS Coordinator for St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit, paramedic instructor/coordinator for the state of Michigan, and ACLS Instructor. For fun he enjoyed spending time with his family, and going boating and camping.

He is survived by his brothers Kent (Karen) Lagerquist and Kory Lagerquist; niece and nephew Kelly (Ray) Sarver and Kevin (Lindsay) Lagerquist; great-niece and great nephew Kendall and Emerson. Kim was predeceased by his siblings Kurt Lagerquist and Sonja Ogan.

A visitation will be held on both Thursday, October 19th and Friday, October 20th from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, MI 48043. A family eulogy will take place on Friday, October 20th at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
