Kenneth Michael Remejes, age 78 of Mount Clemens, passed away Thursday morning at his home. He was born November 23, 1945 to Michael and Frances (Barbour) Remejes in Ottawa, Illinois.

Mr. Remejes served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, and was employed as a Dispatcher for Alta Lift, retiring in 2011. He was a dedicated volunteer at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, and served on the Board of Directors and volunteered for the Mount Clemens Grand Prix during the soap box derby races. Kenneth enjoyed all sports, but especially liked watching his Green Bay Packers and Detroit Red Wings. He loved being with and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Surviving are his children, Kristi (Sean) Glavich and John (Staci) Remejes; grandchildren, Grace, Mary and Jack; sister, Norma Bruck, and former wife, Judi Armstrong. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Cheryl in 2013.

Visiting hours are from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00), Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 168 Cass Avenue, Mount Clemens with Reverend Kathy Nealand officiating.
