Kathleen Elizabeth Howe

1920 - 2019

Mrs. Kathleen E. Howe, age 98 of St. Clair Shores, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2019 in Lakeshore Senior Living.

She was born on July 25, 1920 in New Baltimore, Michigan, a daughter of the late Aubrey and Louise Rivard. On November 27, 1961, Kathleen was united in marriage with Darold Lee Howe in Ohio. Mr. Howe passed away on May 19, 1993 in Mount Clemens.

Kathleen was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Clinton Township. She loved squirrels, bowling and dancing, and her membership in the New Baltimore Post V.F.W.

Kathleen worked for 37 years as a postal worker.

Mrs. Howe is survived by two children, Jacqulyn East and James (Joy) Howe; five grandchildren, Donna (Alex) Guidacocha, Tim (Shannon) East, David (Kelly) East, Tanya Anderson and Abigail Howe; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Kathleen was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. (in state 9:30 a.m.) in St. Louis Catholic Church, 24415 Crocker Boulevard, Clinton Township. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in New Baltimore.
