Katherine L. Milbourn, age 88, of Mount Clemens, passed away Friday at Evangelical Home, Sterling Heights
She was born September 1, 1929 in Cuba, New York, the daughter of the late Charles and Ada (Cook) Conklin. On July 27, 1953, Katie was united in marriage with Donald Linn Milbourn in Cuba, New York. Mr. Milbourn passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2007 in Clinton Township.
Katie was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Mount Clemens. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from New York State University in Buffalo, New York. Katie enjoyed her winters in Lakeland, Florida, camping, reading, solving cross word puzzles, sewing and crafts.
Surviving are two children, Loraine Kay (Wesley) McIntosh, and David Clark Milbourn; two nieces, Prisilla Roberts and Anita (Scott) Layfield. Katie was predeceased by two brothers, John and Wayne Conklin.
Visiting hours are 3 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home with Reverend Maureen Baker officiating. Entombment will follow at Clinton Grove Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton Township.
