Karen G. Holk, 69, of Casco Township, passed away April 16, 2017. Born June 14, 1947 in Cleveland OH, the daughter of the late Harry and LaVerda Knapp. Karen most recently served as the Casco Township Supervisor, retiring after 23 years of public service. She is survived by her husband James Sr, four children: James Jr. (Evelyn) Holk, Jessica (John) Berry, Jason (Victoria) Holk, Mariam Nikbin; 8 grandchildren, James III, Kathryn, Olivia, Zachary, Shannon, Sophia, Alexandria, Nic; and her brother Lester Knapp. She was predeceased by her sisters; Kathleen Kern, and LaVerda Gilreath.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 11:00AM at St. James United Church of Christ, 9008 Meisner Rd, Casco Twp. MI 48064. A luncheon will follow the service.
