Karen Marlene Henderson, age 71 of Clinton Township, passed away Saturday at her home. She was born September 22, 1946 to Curtiss and Frances (Kaemline) Jacobs in Toledo, Ohio.

Karen was a member of New Hopeful Gospel Church, New Baltimore, and was employed as a home health care aide. She enjoyed bible study, prayer meetings, volunteering, and spending time with her many friends.

Surviving is her son, Collin Henderson, and sister, Barbara (Russel E.) Seifferlein. Karen was predeceased by her parents, Curtiss and Frances Jacobs.

Visiting hours are 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral services will be held at Noon (visiting to start at 11:00 a.m.) Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor James Holder officiating. Burial will follow at Centennial Cemetery, New Haven.
