Mrs. Joyce E. Yacks, age 87 of New Baltimore, passed away Friday morning at Lake Pointe Senior Care in Clinton Township.

She was born on June 21, 1929 in Armada, Michigan, the daughter of the late Edward and Esther Minnie (Baumann) Barrigar. She was married to Donald Yacks, who predeceased her in 1981.

Joyce worked as a assembler at the Mt. Clemens Pottery. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Clemens.

Joyce is survived by her children, Brian (Deborah) Yacks, Dennis yacks and Terry (Adriano) Yacks; ten grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and her sister-in-law, Leilah Barrigar. Joyce was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Barrigar.
Visiting hours are on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 3-8:00 p.m. in Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Mary McInnes officiating. Private burial will follow at Christian Memorial Cemetery, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
