Obituary

Joseph Alan Farah, of Clinton Township, age 72, passed of natural causes on 03/23/2026. He was born to George and Rita (Nilan) Farah on October 28, 1953 in Mount Clemens, MI. The third youngest of six, Joe is survived by youngest brother Kevin and predeceased by siblings: Gary, Anita, Mary & Michael.

Joe was a graduate of St. Mary Catholic School, where he met his best friend, Mike Robinson, in second grade. He went on to Mount Clemens High School and graduated in 1972.

Joe had a love of music. He played guitar for St. Peter's contemporary choir during his school years. In 1976, he was honored to be asked to write a wedding song for a friend's wedding, called, "Carry with you Love."

In 1992, Joe graduated from Jackson State Community College in Tennessee with an Associate of Applied Science and pursued a career as a physical therapy assistant for over 41 years. After working in a large trauma center hospital in Jackson, TN for 14 years, he returned to his home state of Michigan to be with family and friends. Although Joe has no children, he always longed for a family of his own. He wanted everyone who touched his life to know how special they were on his journey.

"Carry with you as you live. Carry with you as you give. A special gift from above. Carry with you love." -song by Joseph A. Farah

A memorial service in Joe's honor will be held at a later date.
