Mr. John G. Freimann II, age 85 of Griffin, Georgia, and formerly of Roseville, passed away on Wednesday October 19, 2022.

He was born on July 14, 1937 in East Detroit, Michigan, a son of he late Leonard and Kathryn (Coulon) Freimann. On April 15, 1960, John was united in marriage with Linda Lee Benedict in the Methodist Church in Roseville.

John enjoyed playing pool, golf, working as a handyman and in his younger years, horse back riding. He loved and devoted his time to fraternal organizations. He was a Master Mason, Shriner and was a past Worshipful Master and lifetime member of Roseville Lodge No. 522. John was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and served as a Past Worthy Patron of Roseville Chapter No. 468. He was also active with DeMolay and Rainbow while his children were members. Additionally, John served in the Coast Guard and as a Roseville Police Officer for 25 years.

Mr. Freimann is survived by 2 children, David B. Freimann (his wife, Barbara) and Melanie F. Ward; grandchildren, Jeremy and Kaleigh Ward; great granddaughters, Aubree and Averie. John was predeceased by his wife, Linda Lee.

Visiting hours are on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 6:30 p.m. and followed by the Roseville Masonic Lodge service at 7:00 p.m. Private entombment will be on Thursday at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery East in Clinton Township.
