JoAnne H. Slezak, age 94 of Clinton Township, passed away early Wednesday morning at her home. She was born April 13, 1929 to Mary (White) and Rondal Harper Sr. in Detroit, Michigan

"Auntie Honey" as she was affectionately known was a caregiver to anyone who needed help. JoAnne frequently hosted holiday family get-togethers, which featured her wonderful desserts.  She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and gardening. For over thirty years she was ahighly organized and valued secretary in the Engineering Department at the Chrysler Corporation; and a long-term member and officer of the Chryslerettes.

JoAnne is survived by her son, Michael (Diane) Slezak; grandchildren, Nicole (Nicholas) and Andrew (Hillary); great grandchildren, Isabella and Henry; sister-in-law Denise Harper; nieces Kelly Alexander, Diana Carlson and other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Florian; daughter, Kathi Sasser, and siblings, Rondal Harper Jr., Richard Harper, Diana Socha and David Harper.

A Celebration of her life will be held on her birthday April 13th of 2024.
