Mrs. Joan D. Superson, age 74 of St. Clair Shores, passed away Thursday morning in Ascension St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.

She was born on May 22, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late John and Marie Alice (Connelly) Fischer. On August 31, 1963, she was united in marriage with Ronald Superson in St. Basil Catholic Church in East Detroit.

Joan was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Mount Clemens.

Mrs. Superson is survived by her husband, Ronald; four children, Claudette (Michael) Schnoblen, Ronald (Tamara) Superson, David Superson and John (Radka) Superson; nine grandchildren; four siblings, Jack (Joann) Fischer, Peggy (Jim) Ray, Cynthia (Rick) Anger and Rick Fischer. Joan was predeceased by a brother, Michael Fischer.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. (in state at 9:00 a.m.) in St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Father Michael N. Cooney officiating. Burial will be in Memphis Cemetery.
