Janice Faye Giese, age 71 of Clinton Township, passed away March 27, 2026 at her home.

She was born May 1, 1954 to Harold and Barbara (Berger) Redloske in Mount Clemens, Michigan.  On November 24, 1978 Janice was united in marriage with Rickie W. Giese in New Baltimore.

Janice was employed for thirty years as the Planning Director for Chesterfield Township. She enjoyed baking cakes, especially wedding cakes, cooking for events and parties, her specialty was polish food, traveling with her sisters, drinking her favorite beverage, the bloody caesar, and playing keno. Her favorite love was spending time with her great granddaughter, Haley.

Surviving is her daughter, Tammy (Tim) Prime; grandsons, Dalton and Devon; great granddaughter, Harley, and siblings, Shelly Mitchell, Cheryl (Dan) Andreski, Lori (Todd) Larson, Linette Lalonde and Harold (Kristine) Redloske. Also surviving is her companion in life since her husband's passing, her dog, Kei. Janice was predeceased by her husband, Rickie on December 19, 2020, and sister, Charlene Redloske-Girardi.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, along with a cemetery service.
