Janet Ruth Brunmeier, age 85 of Harrison Township, passed away early Friday morning at Medilodge of Richmond.

She was born March 14, 1939 to Irene (Streng) and Ray Pearson in Dearborn, Michigan. On February 13, 1960 Janet was united in marriage with Donald J. Brunmeier at St. Jude Catholic Church, Detroit.

Janet was employed in quality control at Lionel Train for over 35 years. She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, solving word search puzzle, playing cards and playing bingo.

Surviving are her children, Cindy (Randy) Swellnis, Timothy Brunmeier and Shari (Jason) McKinney; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 2004; son, Randall Brunmeier, and brother, Robert Pearson.

Visiting hours are 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 22, 2024 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A burial service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, corner of Clinton River Road and Garfield, Clinton Township.
