James J. Winbigler, 70, of St. Clair Shores, passed away Monday, September 19, 2016. He was born December 23, 1945 to Robert and Agnes Winbigler in Mount Clemens, Michigan. On September 3, 1965 James married Elaine M. Snay in Mount Clemens, and the couple settled in Clinton Township. He is survived by his children, Jami (Gary) Verbeke, Christopher (Jennifer) Winbigler and Timothy (Crystal) Winbigler; his siblings, Lorne (Janice), Roy (Corrine), Sharon and Terry (Kay), and 14 grandchildren. James is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Elaine; his parents, Robert and Agnes, and brothers, Robert (Skip) and Frank.

A service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Bethesda Christian Church, at 14000 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI 48312. A memorial gathering with friends and family will begin at 1pm with a service following at 2pm with Pastor Pat Visger officiating.
