James H. Northcutt, age 87 a former resident of Chesterfield, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017 in Arizona.
He was born September 30, 1929 to Holbert and Jewel Northcutt in Cerro Gordo, Tennessee. On February 28, 1953 James was united in marriage with Pearl K. Reed in Mount Cemens, Michigan.
Mr. Northcutt was employed for over 40 years at the Macomb Daily. He enjoyed doing crafts and traveling the world. James won many awards for his Christmas displays in Chesterfield.
Surviving are his children, Michael (Kathleen) Northcutt, Kathy (Mike) Baugus; grandchildren, Sarah and Caitlin Northcutt, Andrew (Meg) DeCoster and Brandon (Emily) DeCoster, and sisters, Joyce, Joann and Betty. James was predeceased by his wife, Pearl on June 8, 2007.
Visiting hours are 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens with Pastor David Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East, Clinton Township.
