Mr. Harris Luther McLaughlin, age 75 of Macomb Township, passed away early Monday morning at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital.

Harris was born on November 25, 1948 in New Eagle,  Pennsylvania, a son of the late Harris Luther and Mrtyle Fay (Hemotoler) McLaughlin, Sr.

On June 25, 1976, Harris was united in marriage with Bonnie Crussen in Detroit.  Harris worked as a machine operator.  He served in the United States Navy.

He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and building model cars.

Surviving is his wife Bonnie, two daughters, Emily Ortiz and Ashley Crussen, and 3 siblings, William (Kim) McLaughlin, George Robb ban Charlotte (Wayne) Poindexter.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.  Mr. McLaughlin's cremated remains will be placed in a niche at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Township, Michigan.
