Geraldine P. DeSloover, age 93 of Chesterfield, passed away early Tuesday morning at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens. She was born September 26, 1927 to John and Pearl (Kettel) Nimerscheim in Detroit, Michigan.

Mrs. DeSloover enjoyed working at St. Joseph Hospital West as a monitor technician, playing pinochle, and doing needle point. After her retirement, Geraldine volunteered her time at the gift shop and coffee shop at St. Joseph Hospital.

Surviving are her children, John (April) DeSloover, Kim (Paul) Giacona and Dean (Dawn) DeSloover; grandchildren, Lana (Dave) Kieninger, Nicholas DeSloover, Amy (Ryan) Carlson, Dannielle (Jordan) Pagano, Chantel DeSloover and Tyler DeSloover; great grandchildren, Dylan, Skye, Dane, Mia, Chloe, Giada and Vayda.

Visiting hours are 2:00 - 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. (in state 11:00), Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens.
