Gary Michael Peters, Sr.

Mr. Gary M. Peters, Sr., age 72 of Mount Clemens, passed away on Wednesday at his home.

He was born on March 14, 1951 in Highland Park, Michigan, a son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Cunningham) Peters. Gary was married in 1968 to Addie Porter. She passed away in 1988.

Gary, a retired auto worker for Ford Motor Car Company, enjoyed boating and his collection of guns, and also was a member of the Macomb County Historical Society-Crocker House.

Gary is survived by his son, Gary (Desiree) Peters; 2 brothers, Joe (Ann) Peters and Bill (the late Sarah) Peters, and his significant other, Tish Dihle.

Visiting hours are on Sunday, May 21, 2023 from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

A private graveside service will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 10:00 am at Cadillac Memorial Gardens Cemetery, East, 38425 Garfield Road, Clinton Township, MI 48038,
