Frederick William Miller

October 21, 1945 - June 25, 2025

Mr. Frederick William Miller, age 79 of Sterling Heights, passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Oakleigh of Macomb Assisted Living in Macomb Township.

He was born on October 21, 1945 in Mount Clemens, a son of he late William Frederick and Julia Irene (Schaeffer) Miller, II.

Fred was a retired Design Leader at General Motors where he enjoyed work on advanced vehicle design. Previously Fred was an automobile designer at Chrysler Corporation. Fred was very active sportsman, including fishing, hunting, and skiing. Fred loved traveling, especially soaking up Florida sun! He has many good friends in which he enjoyed spending time with.

Fred is survived by his son, Mark (Karen) Kowalski and grandson, Lennon, and his siblings, Jeanne (Roy) Duvall, Susan Marie Miller, Andrew L. Miller, Joann L. (Patrick) Elsey and William F. (Cindy) Miller, III.

Visiting hours are on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens.

Family Eulogy will be held on Saturday at Twelve Noon (family receiving friends starting at 11:00 am).

Private burial at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township on Monday at 10:00am.
