Frederick P. Kranich, resident of Harrison Township, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the age of 90.

After discharge from the army, he continued his education to become an electrician for 37 years, and along with his late son Randall, were members of the IBEW Local 58. Following retirement, he continued to enjoy boating and fishing on Lake St Clair and skiing with family and friends in Michigan, Canada and the western US. Frederick lived in the house that he, his wife, and friends built, and where he maintained friendships with caring neighbors, many of whom built their homes in the neighborhood at the same time.

Besides his parents Alvena and George Kranich, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kranich after 54 years of marriage, and his son Randall. He is survived by his son Robert and sister-in-law Kathy.

His smile and jovial personality will truly be missed.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900  Harper Avenue.

Visitation will be between 10-11:00am with the funeral service starting at 11:00am.
