Frank (Francis) Lawrence Pavelek, age 85, entered eternal rest on February 26, 2026, in New Baltimore, Michigan.

Frank spent his early years serving his community as a local barber before later dedicating himself to supporting area schools as a maintenance operator. A lifelong musician and proud member of Virgil Baker & The Just 4 Fun Band, Frank shared his

talents as a drummer, saxophonist, and keyboardist. Music was his joy—especially Polka and the Blues—and he cherished every moment spent performing or singing karaoke with friends and family.

Frank is survived by his son, Christopher (Rachel) Pavelek and daughter, Tannya Pavelek; his beloved grandchildren, Allie, Anna, and Julia; his brother, Bill (Cindy) Pavelek; and his sister, Loraine (Bill) Johnston. He is also lovingly remembered by his stepchildren: Bill Lindeman, Barbara (Bill) Stickney, Dorothy Lindeman, Mary (Jim) Hawkinson, Tom (Renee) Lindeman, and Jim Lindeman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella (Lindeman) Pavelek; his siblings Mike Pavelek, Kathy (Pavelek) Koluch, and Delores (Pavelek) Patterson; and his first wife, Rose Pavelek.
