Eugene Ronald Kutzleb Sr., age 91 of Chesterfield, passed away Friday afternoon at McLaren Macomb, Mount Clemens. He was born November 8, 1934 to Philomena (Rutkowksi) and Eugene E. Kutzleb in Hamtramck, Michigan.

Eugene was employed as a supervisor for Western Electric. He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, and was a very active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a person who could fix anything, was a drummer in a band, and enjoyed traveling, golfing, watching the Detroit Lions, and played high school football.

Surviving are his children, Ann Pistono, Theresa (Mark) Chicovsky and Michael (Nicole) Kutzleb; daughter in law, Helga Kutzleb; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Gloria Iaquinto; brother in law, Mike (Rose) Burtnyk, and many nieces and nephews. Eugene was predeceased by his first wife, Mary; second wife, Agnes; son, Eugene Kutzleb Jr.; son in law, Joseph Pistono; sister, Marilyn Safron, brothers in law, Sam Iaquinto and Andy Safron.

Visiting hours will be from 4:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. (with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary service) Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. (in state 9:30) Friday, May 29, 2026 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens.

Private burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
