Mr. Erik Louis Gust, age 36 of Roseville, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly.

He was born on April 18, 1984 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, the son of Kenneth L. Gust, Jr. and Deborah Benoit Avey.

Erik had a passion for music, sports, cars, and most of all family. He loved making people laugh and always lit up a room he walked into with his smile. He especially loved his canine friends Zeus, Moose and Rylee.

Erik is survived by his father, Kenneth (Cindy) Gust, Jr., his mother, Debbie (Ron) Avey; sister, Stefanie (Clint) Good, several aunts , uncles and many cousins. Jonathan Benoit, who was more of a brother than a cousin. Erik was predeceased by his grandparents, Kenneth (Patricia) Gust, Sr. and James (Loretta) Benoit, and cousin, Paige Barg.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December. 16, 2020 from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens. A family Eulogy will be held at 6:00 pm.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions: 20 visitors at a time, face masks must be worn entire time (mouth and nose has to be covered). Food and drinks not permitted. Please limit your time of viewing to allow another guest to visit.
