Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Schwinke, age 92 of Clinton Township, passed away on Wednesday at McLaren-Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

She was born on July 6, 1926 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, a daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Streu) Ross.. On June 1, 1946, Elizabeth was united in marriage with Robert Frederick Schwinke in Zion United Church of Christ in Mt. Clemens. Mr. Schwinke passed away Monday, June 14, 2010.

Elizabeth was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Mount Clemens. She had worked as a secretary for Clintondale Public Schools.

Mrs. Schwinke is survived by two children, Suzanne Smith and Richard (Tammy) Schwinke; son-in-law Joe Ray; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by her daughter Kathy Ray and brother Clarence Ross.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday, January 6, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043.

Funeral service will be on Monday, January 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. (in state 10:00 a.m.) in Zion United Church of Christ, 68 New Street, Mount Clemens with the Reverend Scott Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
