Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Morris, age 93 of Mt. Clemens, passed away April 15, 2023 at Shelby Manor, Shelby Twp.

She was born April 4, 1930 to Ralph and Mildred (Heckman) Meldrum in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. On June 25, 1960 Betty was united in marriage with John L. Morris.

Betty was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and good food. She and John cherished spending winters in Florida in their retirement. She adored spending time with her grandson and great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her children, Steve Morris, and Cindy Karazia (Alan); grandson Michael (Emily) and great-grandchildren Mia, Brock, and Alice.

Her family would also like to thank her (and John's) long-time caregiver, Jeanne, and her family. Due to her long-term love and care, both Betty and John had long, full, happy lives. We are deeply grateful for her patience, kindness, concern, and love for both of our parents.

Memorial visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.
