Elaine Eleanor Liss (Schlenbecker) 84 years old, of Mt. Clemens, passed away peacefully on April 06, 2018. Elaine is survived by her husband of 60 years, Earle; daughters Nancy Marchese and Karen (Jeff) Barbera; grandsons Ronald, Scott and James; granddaughters Rebecca and Margaret and great-grandsons Riddik and Orion. Elaine attended Concordia Teacher's College in River Forest Illinois. She taught at St. Paul Lutheran School in St. Clair Shores and Trinity Lutheran School in Clinton Township. Elaine was a long-time member of Trinity Lutheran Church and active in Lutheran Woman's Missionary League. She was a Sunday school teacher and a volunteer in the Early Childhood Center.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 2:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. (in state at 10:00 A.M.) at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 38900 Harper, Clinton Township, Michigan 48036 with the Reverend Gary Richard officiating.

There will be a private burial at Cadillac Memorial Gardens East Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
