Edwin Alfred Fagan, age 86 of Harrison Township, passed away September 2, 2017, 17 days short of his 87th birthday.
He leaves behind his wife of 64 1/2 years, Geraldine; three children, Deanna Bacon, Edwin W. (Cheryl Kowalczyk) Fagan, John (Cathy) Fagan; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. Edwin was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Kustak.
Mr. Fagan served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War, and was a teacher for the Utica Community Schools, retiring after 34 years of service. He was a member of Clinton River Boat Club and Canada Creek Ranch for 53 years. Edwin was an avid boater, enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and especially enjoyed working with, and teaching all of his students during his 34 years. Edwin and his wife spent winters in Englewood, Florida for the past 30 years.
A celebration of Edwin's life will be held at the end of October.
