Dorothy Irene Lusch, age 93 of Clinton Township, passed away Sunday afternoon at McLaren Macomb Hospital, Mount Clemens.

She was born March 2, 1924 to Harris and Margaret Hyslop in Detroit, Michigan. On July 10, 1943 Dorothy was united in marriage with Martin Lusch in Detroit.

Mrs. Lusch was a teller at First State Bank of East Detroit for over twenty years until her retirement, and attended St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens. She enjoyed playing cards, and especially loved being with her family.

Surviving is her son, Eric (Marilyn) Lusch; daughter, Deborah Ripplinger; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Martin Lusch Sr. in July of 1978, and son, Martin Lusch Jr.

Visiting hours are 3 - 9 p.m., Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

Funeral 11:30 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with Father Michael N. Cooney officiating.
Private burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township.
