Ms. Doris M. Ritchie, age 75 of Chesterfield Township, passed away on Thursday at McLaren-Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.
She was born on April 3, 1941 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, a daughter of the late Anthony and Adelia (Ingerbor) Manella. Doris was united in marriage with Albert Richard Schulwitz on March 27, 1962 in Mount Clemens. Mr. Schulwitz passed away on March 15, 1998.
Doris was the All American Mom; loving to cook and bake.
Ms. Ritchie is survived by nine children; Wayne Schulwitz, Suzanne Eschenburg, Vickie Stock, Darlena Sperico, Anthony (Mary Brooks) Burch, Bruce (Jana) Schulwitz, Michael (Penny), Kelly Nugara and Joseph Schulwitz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; three siblings, Anthony Manella, Judith (Charles) Frazho and James Manella. Doris was predeceased by a daughter, Norma Jean Rumenapp and a brother, Philip Manella.
Visiting hours are on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens from 2:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Warren Hood, Pastor of Living Word Fellowship Church in New Haven officiating.
