Donna Marie Sherman, age 92 of Clinton Township, passed away October 8, 2022 at Ascension St. John Hospital, Detroit.

She was born January 13, 1930 to Jerome and Cecelia (Goulette) Widrig in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Donna was united in marriage with Charles Sherman at St. Peter Catholic Church, Mount Clemens.

She attended St. Mary Catholic School in Mount Clemens, and was the co-owner of Macomb Supper Company. Donna enjoyed doing ceramics, solving puzzles, traveling, and playing cards and games.

She is survived by her children, David (Beverly) Sherman and Cathleen (Michael) Strobl; grandchildren, Corinne (Joshua) O'Neil, Blake (Emily) Strobl, Luke (Sara) Strobl and Zachary Strobl; great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kennedy and Ryan; sister in law, Janet (Kent) Schwant, many nieces, nephews, close neighbors, and her extended family and friends. Donna was predeceased by her husband, Charles in 2014, and siblings, William Widrig, Rozell Widrig and Glenn Widrig.

Visiting hours will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 NB Gratiot, Mount Clemens.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. (in state 11:00), Wednesday , November 2, 2022 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 95 Market Street, Mount Clemens.

Burial will follow at St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Clinton Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or to the Salvation Army.
