Mr. Donald Kashich, age 81, of Harrison Township, passed away on Sunday at McLaren Macomb Hospital in Mount Clemens.

He was born on October 5, 1937 to the late Joseph and Bessie (Vukich) Kashich in Detroit, Michigan. On September 9, 1961 he married Dorothy 'Ann' Marbury in Hazel Park, Michigan. He is a veteran of the United States Navy where he proudly served from 1959 until 1961. Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Donald is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ann; sisters Janet Harju and Marilyn Weston; nieces Aja Keesee, Shirley Kashich, Michele Shigouri, Suzanne Lawrence, and Mary Cook; and nephews Randy Kashich, Richard Burke, Brad Weston, and Chris Kashich. He was predeceased by his siblings Dolores and David.

A visitation for Mr. Kashich will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens, Michigan 48043.

The funeral service for Mr. Kashich will take place at 7:00 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home with the Reverend Dr. G. Patrick Thompson of the Sturges Memorial Congregational Church of Port Huron officiating.

A private burial will take place at Clinton Grove Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
