Dolores Rosalie Matz

Mrs. Dolores R. Matz, age 87 of Chesterfield Township, passed away Thursday evening at Grace Premier Assisted Living in New Baltimore.

She was born on August 15, 1934 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, a daughter of the late Noah and Hazel (Cramer) Fountain. Dolores was married to Lester Kirkum until his death in 1960. On January 13, 1962, Dolores was united in marriage with Leonard M. Matz in Mount Clemens. Mr. MatZ passed away on December 14, 2020.

Dolores had worked as a telephone operator at AT & T. She enjoyed playing golf and going to the theater.

Dolores is survived by four children, Debbie (Dave) Mott, Patricia Alexander,Joe (Lesia) Kirkum and Kevin (Sandra) Matz; 10 grandchildren and 11. Great grandchildren, She was predeceased by 7 siblings.

Private cremation arrangements entrusted to Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home, 233 Northbound Gratiot Avenue, Mount Clemens. Her cremated remains will be buried with Leonard in Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township.
